1. 2025/26 NORMS AND STANDARDS FINAL ALLOCATIONS FOR PUBLIC ORDINARY SCHOOLS (GR R -12), INDEPENDENT SITES AND PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Your school's Norms and Standards Final Allocation is published on CEMIS under the "Administration" menu option.

For Gr1-12 refer to circular 0023 or 0024/2024, for Grade R refer to Circular 0026/2024 for further particulars.

Applicable to non-section 21 Schools only, WCED 032 forms must be based on the aforementioned Final N&S allocation.

4. GRADE R SUBSIDY CLAIM PROCESS FOR APRIL 2025

With reference to Management Accounting Circular 0026/2024 and manual issued.

Grade R claims can now be submitted as per guidelines. Please ensure that a printout is been made and kept for audit purposes.

5. 2025 COMPENSATION FOR SCHOOL FEE EXEMPTION (GRANTED IN 2024)

● This functionality is available under the administration\school fee exemption\claim capture screens menu option.

● This functionality will be available from 8 April 2025 until 30 April 2025 to PUBLIC ORDINARY schools in QUINTILE LEVEL 4 or 5.

● Refer to Circular 0003/2025 and the Guideline page on the School Fee Exemption menu.

● Only the name of the learner must be ticked, and the % of the exemption granted must be captured manually to claim for that specific learner.    The enrolment days will be automatically populated.

● The normal audit process must be followed and signed off copies must be kept for record and audit puposes by school and district office.

● Each application will be validated by the district office and submitted to Head Office for process and payment.

● Do not send any documents to Head Office.

● Final capture date and sign-off by 30 April 2025, no late submissions will be accepted.

7. GRADES 1-12 RECORDING AND REPORTING PROGRAMMES (DOWNLOADING)

The programme files for the WCED Grades 1-12 recording and reporting programmes are now available.

Please ensure that your learner data, especially the LOLT (language of learning and teaching) on CEMIS, has been correctly captured.

For those schools currently utilizing SAMS, it is important to note that you are responsible for the management and maintenance of both distinct systems, CEMIS and SAMS.
